CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE- TWO FACED- REVIEW

TWO FACED'S CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE(REVIEW)

I've decided to do another review as i have spare time on my hands and my mid year exams are done. so recently, i decided to go to Mecca Maxima and buy something which i have been interested in for a few months, which is Two Faced's Chocolate Bar eye palette, as i needed a proper set or bar of good quality eyeshadows.

PRESENTATION
The packaging of the product is adorable and it isn't to bulky or wide, which does make it easier i guess to slip into your handbag or for travel. I think it really does look like a chocolate bar is inside, that classic candy bar packaging. It shows all the shades on the back.
The container itself is in the shape of a chocolate bar and it makes me want to eat it haha. I remember he first time i opened it, depending if you like makeup smells, but the lid brought open a smell of chocolate and cream. It has a nice size mirror inside and it comes with a plastic cover over the shades with their names, i leave it on to protect them from flaking

EYESHADOWS
Comes in 16 different colours. what i like is that some are matte and some have shimmer and they have similar colours in both. The names of each colours resemble deserts: (top left corner- to bottom right corner)

Gilded Ganache 1.- shimmer
White Chocolate 2.- matte
Milk Chocolate 3.- matte
Black Forest Truffle 4. shimmer
Triple Fudge 5.- matte
Salted Caramel 6.- matte
Marzipan 7.- shimmer
Semi-Sweet 8.- matte
Strawberry Bon Bon 9.-matte
Candied Violet 10.- shimmer
Amaretto 11. -shimmer
Hazelnut 12.-shimmer
Creme brûlée 13.- shimmer
Haute Chocolate 14.-shimmer
Cherry Cordial 15.-shimmer
Champagne Truffle 16. -shimmer

The eyeshadows are made from 100% natural cocoa powder, so they have a very soft silky feel and you can smell the cocoa in them. They go on not extremely easy but easy enough to brush on the right amount over the eyelid. I use White Chocolate as a primer base and champagne truffle as a full lid cover over it. Marzipan is rose gold while creme brûlée is gold. The combination of those all together creates an amazing transition, from a light pink to a rose gold.

Overall i give this product a 4.75/5. positively it feels velvety, smells beautiful, the packaging is great, most of the colours are pigmented well and don't feel cheap. one thing i would like is if marzipan, creme brûlée and champagne truffle were more shimmery and brighter, but not extremely sparkly. i noticed the difference between those shades and the matte was not great, so i recommend adding extra pigment that may have sparkle that would be a similar colour match on top.

Won't be doing another review for a few weeks. hope you like :)
